With this Western Series building, I am working on a few iconic portraits. So far I have finished a Willie Nelson one and now a John Wayne. This illustration is graphite on smooth bristol paper and measures at 11×14 in. This capture is a work in progress of the John Wayne, before I added a faded American Flag in the background.
